Peony roses are abundant in the USA and I just love them. We don't see many here down under. I probably prefer the white. Getting back out into the garden now the weather has truned. Looking forward to seeing the peony poppies that old flowers gave me from her garden last year. She loves to share her seed heads. I can only offer her forget me nots, they are the easiets to grow yet she cannot get them going! With the drought you have to think carefully about what you plant..

Happy Happy Mother's Day
A little bit late but that is how it is at the moment. I am going to be a GM later this year and the news has come to me as a lovely suprise.
I am heading over to USA in three weeks time and will be missing poppiedvine who will be just getting over the morning sickness I hope.
Spoke to my other little one tonight and he is always full of interesting news, just visited granny
I am feeling for my friend little jo - or old flowers as you may know her. Time is cathing up with her little nan, who has had a stay in hospital, much to her disgust at 94 years of age I think.....my thought are with Jo who loves her like her mother.....

Easter is coming
Getting ready for Easter and have been buying these lovely eggs, I keep sneaking one each night so there will not be many left for the holidays. My sister in law phoned today to say they will be coming down to stay for a few days. I will be looking to my flickr and blog friends for more inspiration for Easter displays.

New look
I have bought this table for $10 and have reset my favourite forties lamp on top , if you look on the shelf below I have a cushion oldflowers4 me made for my birthday. The print on the wall is one I bought at the Red Hill Market a few years ago. I am loving the colurs of this at present , however the table will be getting a white make over when I get the new sun room finished.
You would say a little cowdy meets boudoir look...

The princess
I was feeling a little down today like this little princess but have just spoken to my son and am feeling happy again. It is not a day of thorns but a day of serendiptiy. I am thinking of my two babies tomorrow .....Having a look at the new issue of Romantic homes will cheer me up. Getting decorating ideas from the new Australian House and garden for the sun room..it has to be all white. Hello to my babies if you have tuned in tonight....

Mornington
Not a bad shot, I feel like the GreyGoosie( see my contacts on flickr) or maybe even Rachel Ashwell. I was feeling groovy at Mornington today..it is a big old shed stacked with Treasure...Gail Mc Cormack stores her things here too, but all was gone today as she was at the Market. There are lots of brown furniture pieces that could be freshened up with a lick of white paint....however...I spotted something my heart has been aching for for 6 years...stay tuned
